The Cookies have boarded the airship! Look! There's Beast-Yeast!

Beast-Yeast is a World Exploration area introduced in the Secrets of the Silver Kingdom update (v5.0). It begins by following the journeys of GingerBrave, Strawberry Cookie, Wizard Cookie, and Pure Vanilla Cookie as they travel through the continent of Beast-Yeast, where their quest to stop Dark Enchantress Cookie is complicated by the presence of the Five Beasts.

Beast-Yeast is unlocked after clearing Story 8-30 in Crispia. Unlike Crispia's Stamina Jellies, Juicy Stamina Jellies are required to battle in Beast-Yeast Stages. By clearing Stages and Episodes, players can earn Beascuits, Bites, Beascuit Dough, and other rewards.

Clearing Episode 2: Theater of Lies grants access to the introductory episodes for each of the Five Beasts: The Awakening of White Apathy ( Mystic Flour Cookie), Shadow of the Destroyer ( Burning Spice Cookie), Spire of Shadows ( Shadow Milk Cookie), Garden of Sweet Delights ( Eternal Sugar Cookie) and Silence of Conviction ( Silent Salt Cookie). The pairs of introductory Episodes and their matching final Episode may be played in any order; a player needs not experience the pairs in release order.

Overview[]

Stages on Beast-Yeast function similarly to those on Crispia in that each Episode consists of a series of Stages that can only be cleared in order. Each Stage on Beast-Yeast has three difficulty modes: Story, Normal, and Hard, with Story Mode being easier than average and Hard Mode being more difficult. A Stage can be cleared on any difficulty mode to progress, and refunds a third of the Juicy Stamina Jellies spent if it isn't cleared.

Clearing a Stage for the first time grants a first-time reward and a Star on top of the Stage's regular rewards based on the difficulty mode chosen, along with the first-time rewards of any difficulty modes below it. Each Stage clear rewards one random Beascuit from that Stage's reward pool upon completion, with the highest possible rarity of the Beascuit depending on the difficulty level cleared. Battling a Stage on Story Mode replays its cutscenes even if they've been played before.

To clear a Stage and collect its rewards, the Stage must be cleared with at least one ally left in battle (not including summoned creatures). Time Jumpers can then be used on that Stage in the future to instantly clear it at the highest cleared difficulty level or below.

Stars for each Episode are earned based on the highest difficulty level cleared on each Stage, regardless of the number of surviving Cookies. Collecting Stars fills the Star counter of the Episode, which grants Crystals at the one-third, two-thirds, and full-clear milestone marks.

Clearing a Beast-Yeast Episode unlocks that episode as a location for Balloon Expeditions, where additional Beascuits and Yeast Ore can be found. The highest potential rarity of Beascuits received from Balloon Expeditions depends on the highest difficulty level cleared on every Stage for that episode.

The Shadow of the Destroyer update (v5.10) added to World Exploration: Beast-Yeast a reoccurring bonus Event called Monster Menace, which spawns three different chests of various prizes spread throughout three of the mode's Stages, each of which can be obtained twice per day. As of the Spire of Shadows update (v6.0), Monster Menace is a permanent feature of all Episodes, with at least one of the two latest Episodes always holding at least one chest.

Challenge Mode[]

The Silence of Conviction update (v6.9) added a new difficulty mode, Challenge, to levels starting from Episode 11. To play a level in Challenge mode, it should be first cleared in Hard mode. In Challenge mode, players could freely adjust various modifiers before playing the level, with each degree of adjustment amounting to 2 Challenge Points. At least a total of 10 Challenge Points is required to play a level in Challenge mode, rewarding the players 300 Crystals for clearing for the first time.

The modifiers include applying buffs to enemies or debuffs to your team. Challenge mode is exceptionally hard, so it is advised to use teams with high-stat builds, and having the most effects active from various game mechanics. Cookies for Hire is unavailable in this mode.

Episodes 3 & 4: Realm of Apathy

The mysterious Pale Ailment has stricken the Dark Cacao Kingdom. To find a cure, Dark Cacao Cookie ventures into the land of Beast-Yeast. Will the stoic monarch be able to put an end to the sinister plot of Mystic Flour Cookie, the Master of the Ivory Pagoda, and protect his land?

The ultimate trial of Dark Cacao Cookie's Resolution awaits at the top of the endless steps. Battling the creeping Apathy poisoning his soul, the Ancient Hero finds a way to unite his divided power, vanquish his dreadful foe, and return home victorious!

Episodes 5 & 6: Land of Fire & Ruin

Golden Cheese Cookie, the Radiant Queen, is kidnapped by the mysterious army of Wild Spices. In the eye of the spicy storm, the Hero soars with golden pride... That is, until the fateful confrontation with the ancient God of Destruction, Burning Spice Cookie, breaks her wings.

The Soul Jam is gone, but the golden glint of greed is not easily dimmed. Despite her crumbling dough, Golden Cheese Cookie faces the terrible Beast once more, and emerges victorious. With the strength of her Soul Jam returned, the Radiant Goddess buries her enemy under a pile of rocks. Alas, Burning Spice Cookie survives and retreats into the shadows, awaiting the next opportunity to strike.

Episodes 7 & 8: A Game of Truth and Deceit

Seeking clues about the Beast-binding Ritual, Pure Vanilla Cookie and friends reach the Spire of All Knowledge. But the Spire is not what it seemed. In his lair, the sinister Master of Deceit puts the Cookies against a twisted kaleidoscope of lies. In the end, Pure Vanilla Cookie falters in the face of the ugly truth revealed by Shadow Milk Cookie, and is reborn as the Truthless Recluse.

Shadow Milk Cookie's plan unfolds. Chaos and insidious rumors spread throughout the Cookie World. But just when the Master of Deceit was ready to celebrate his victory, a single ray of light pierced the blue haze of Deceit to illuminate the darkness looming over the world-Pure Vanilla Cookie's boundless determination to step towards the Truth despite doubts and lies.

Episodes 9 & 10: Paradise of Passion and Sloth

Troubling news comes from all corners of Earthbread. Determined to face her adversary, Hollyberry Cookie gathers her trusted friends and ventures into Beast-Yeast. But instead of fearsome monsters and fabled perils, they stumble upon the mystical Garden of Delights and the comforting sounds of its master's lyre. Will Hollyberry Cookie resist the saccharine temptation and rekindle the Passion in her heart?

The gentle Eternal Sugar Cookie reveals her true nature and confines Hollyberry Cookie in the Heart of the Garden. Her friends risk everything to rescue the Ancient Hero. But the most difficult battle is the one that rages on inside her. In the end, she recalls the purpose of her shield and protects the Hollyberry Kingdom.
