Two-Faced Lies is the fourth season of the Beast Raid game mode released in the Spire of Shadows mid-update (v6.0).
The event ran from January 24 to March 12, 2025.
Overview[]
Players must prepare two Cookie teams before they can battle the boss. Team 2 can only consist of
Support and
Healing Cookies, and requires
Pure Vanilla Cookie to be a member of the team. The game will automatically provide a Lv.80 Pure Vanilla Cookie with Cooldown toppings and a Lv. 20 Beascuit.
A Beast Raid Ticket is required to battle. Players can battle the highlighted boss in one of five difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and Master), with Master difficulty unlocking after a specific time. Once a boss has been beaten at a particular difficulty level, it can be cleared again instantly using x5
Time Jumpers and fought in the next difficulty level.
Beast Raid Tickets stock up to 6 maximum and replenish at a rate of 1 every 6 hours. 1 more ticket can be added per day by purchasing them with
Crystals x400. Deceitful Coins are obtained from every successful raid, and can be used to buy items from the Beast Raid Shop.
Boss[]
Two-Faced Lies alternates between two phases, Mask of Lies and Unadulterated Lies, with each side only battled by one of the two player's teams. Team 1 battles the boss directly, while Team 2 heals an orb until it is fully healed, causing it to explode and deal great damage to the boss. The boss changes to its alternate phase either if enough of its HP is lost or after a certain amount of time has passed.
Whenever Unadulterated Lies changes back to Mask of Lies, one of 3 tarot buffs can be chosen, buffing both teams indefinitely.

Emperor: DMG Dealt Up | +30% DMG |

Magician: Healing Up | +50% Healing |

Hanged Cookie: DMG Received Down | -10% DMG Received |
In Phase 2, the boss transforms into Broken Belief, and both teams lose all tarot buffs. The boss will be ![]()
Invulnerable, but will be surrounded by 2 blue orbs and 2 green orbs, which are battled/healed one at a time in an alternate pattern to overload them. Whenever a team is alternated into the battle, a question is posed to the player; choosing the blue option (relating to Shadow Milk Cookie) increases all DMG dealt for the rest of the battle, while choosing the yellow option (relating to Pure Vanilla Cookie) increases all healing received instead. Overloading all orbs purges Invulnerability from the boss, resulting in one final phase where the boss is directly attacked.

Strategy[]
Two-Faced Lies is vulnerable to
Weakness debuffs; it is recommended to use multiple Cookies that can inflict this debuff for Team 1, while focusing entirely on Cookies that can heal high amounts for Team 2.
Teams[]
Tips[]
- Don't worry about Team 1 having to heal itself on difficulties below Master, as the boss isn't particular damaging on its damage phases.
Apple of My Eye! can be enough to keep the team alive. - Healing compositions should be able to clear their respective boss phases within 1-2 skill uses, so focus on buffs that grant DMG to speed up Team 1's progress.

Ranking & Rewards[]
Players are sorted into ranks depending on how much damage they've dealt to the bosses in each difficulty and also the time taken by the player to defeat the boss in the highest difficulty they could. Rank rewards can be claimed after reaching a certain rank for the first time, while season rewards are sent to the players at the end of season if they've participated at least once.
There are also rewards for reaching certain milestones for the first time by collecting Beast Raid Mission points. Collecting all rewards converts future Mission Points into Coins.
