Tower of Frozen Waves |
Overview |
Tower of Frozen Waves is a game mode added in A Mermaid's Tale mid-update (v4.10). It features various stages that the player must overcome to climb the tower and earn rewards. It is unlocked after completing the Special Episode, A Mermaid's Tale.
Unlike Tower of Sweet Chaos, the Tower of Frozen Waves only contains 100 non-renewable fixed levels and provides one-time first win rewards.
Overview[]
The Tower consists of multiple floors, and similar to Tower of Sweet Chaos, contains various challenges that consist of both a set of enemies to be defeated and a set of restrictions for your team composition to follow. The floors can be either battle stages consisting of enemies from World Exploration, Tropical Soda Islands and A Mermaid's Tale, Boss battle stages, or running stages. Every 10 floors, a reward chest is given instead of a battle.
In order to clear a floor, a player must have the required number of Lunar Coral Quills. Clearing a Tray for the first time rewards EXP Star Jellies, Topping Pieces, and various other rewards, while repeating a cleared Tray rewards a smaller amount of the EXP Star Jellies and Coins. As players ascend the Tower by clearing floors, rewards granted from clearing Trays will become greater; however, enemies will also become stronger while restrictions will become tighter, requiring a wider selection of high-leveled Cookies to clear.
Floors in the Tower of Frozen Waves rewards a substantial amount of EXP Star Jellies and also Life Jewels of Choice Chest, which contain Resonant Ingredients for 
Sea Fairy Cookie and 
Black Pearl Cookie's Crystal Jams.
Cookies battling in this game mode experience the following effects:
Special Requirements:
- Min Cookie Lv. is 60
- Min Skill Lv. is 60
- Bonds, Sugar Gnome Laboratory, Costume Sets, Guild Level, Guild Relics deactivated
- Level-specific effects:
- (Floors 1-20) Cold Tide: Your allies' Water-type ATK increases by 25%
- (Floors 21-40) Underwater Domain: The meter will increase whenever certain enemies use specific skills or get hit. Once full, the Cookie will be trapped in a Water Cage. When the Water Cage status wears off or is dispelled, the Cookie will take true damage proportional to their Max HP. With each further repetition of this process, the damage will increase. Targets immune to Water Cage will become Drenched. Once they become susceptible to Water Cage again, the Drenched status will changed to Water Cage.

- Your allies' Healing decreases by 65%.
- Your allies' HP Shield's capacity decreases by 65%.
- All enemies' Debuff Resist increases by 40%.
