The Witches are a group of humans in Cookie Run: Kingdom who are said to be responsible for the existence of most known Cookies, typically baking them with the intention of eating them. However, some Witches make powerful Cookies with the intentions of providing protection for themselves, others, and generally, peace. They are the female counterparts of the Wizards.

So far, a Witch's diet include sweets, with their favorite dishes being Cookies. However, they have been shown to eat other sweets such as cakes.
Relationships[]
Witches meet every 1,000 years on the Night of the Witches, where they share meals in the Witch's Banquet.
Known Witches[]
The Witch[]
The individual simply known by Cookies as "the Witch" appears in the Gacha baking animation. She is responsible for creating many of the playable Cookies (especially Cookies created earlier in the Cookie Run series), like 
GingerBrave, 
Strawberry Cookie, and 
Wizard Cookie. She is the only known Witch who is still active in the Cookie Run: Kingdom canon.
As the Witch who created GingerBrave was known as Matilda in past Cookie Run titles, many assume the Witch in Kingdom is also Matilda. This, however, has not been strictly confirmed.

"Them"[]
"Them" (Korean: 그분, geubun) refers to the Witch to whom 
Black Forest Cookie is unconditionally devoted. Little is known about Them aside from the praise attributed to Them by Black Forest Cookie, and Their only known visual depictions reside in lighthearted, overly-generic, and perhaps unreliable sources. Their name is written with reverential pronoun capitalization, furthering Black Forest Cookie's respect towards Them.
Beast-baking Witches[]
An unnamed group of Witches baked Cookies to allow them to experience life instead of eating them. These Witches baked the Beast Cookies to help the land prosper, and when they became corrupted, these "Witches" imprisoned the Beasts in the land of Beast-Yeast. They also ordered 
Elder Faerie Cookie to guard the Silver Sealing Tree that held the Beasts, with him being imbued with the power of the Seal himself.
In reality, these witches vanished long ago, and the sealing was done by the work of Elder Faerie Cookie and 
Silent Salt Cookie. The current whereabouts of these Witches remain unknown.
