The Cookies rarely go outside when it's cold. After all, what can be better than staying tucked up behind the safe, crunchy, fragrant gingerbread walls? At the same time, this was precisely the reason why no one but 
Snow Sugar Cookie and Snow King was there to witness the miracle of the northern lights painting the looming dark sky with myriads of sparks and colors.
"Look, Snow King! The northern lights...!"
It was a shame no one else could see these majestic skies. Where was everyone?
"Tonight, everyone is trying to get warm at their homes, by the fire... Nobody wishes to become a refrigerated Cookie..."
The chiming of voice belonged to 
Angel Cookie, whose eyelashes were covered with a thin layer of glistening frost. Indeed, listening to the cracking of the fire from under a warm blanket sounded like a splendid idea on this freezing winter night.
"But at this rate, I won't meet my friends 'till spring," said Snow Sugar Cookie with a saddened smile.
Cream Puff Cookie, who was braving her way through the cold to the magic ingredient store, could not help but overhear the talk. Like a true wizard, she came up with a brilliant idea right away!
"Why wait for our friends to come when we can go visit them at their houses! There is a great old tradition in the City of Wizards: at the end of the year, the Snowflake Choir travels through the streets, singing songs and sharing season's greetings with everyone.
"A choir...?!"
Snow Sugar Cookie's face instantly brightened up. Angel Cookie squinted with a spark of curiosity in their eyes, Then the four heard someone's voice.
"My friends! What are you doing here in this cold?"
It was 
Milk Cookie who exercised daily come snow or shine. The gentle warrior loved the idea and became the third member of the choir. After all, he was known for his beautiful, suave voice.
Pancake Cookie became the final member of the choir, and he would not take "No" for an answer. Besides, he was dressed so warm, the others decided to let him tag along.
The song called "Everyone's Aurora," written by none other than Snow Sugar Cookie themselves, was picked for the Snowflake Choir's first Kingdom tour. The song was about the Cookies of the kingdom getting together in the snow to watch the northern lights. The choir started their tour at 
Werewolf Cookie's hut in the kingdom's outskirts. Next, the friends visited 
Strawberry Cookie, who was shivering at the sight of the unexpected guests. Then, 
Herb Cookie, whose only plan for today was working at his beloved greenhouse. One after one, the choir stopped by the dwelling of every Cookie in the kingdom.
At first, most Cookies were reluctant to step outside of their comfortable and warm houses. But the song's heartwarming lyrics and Angel Cookie's divine melody eventually found a way into everyone's soul. Cream Puff Cookie sang the melody calmly and reassuringly, harmonizing perfectly with Angel Cookie's and Snow Cookie's parts. And with Milk Cookie's gentle tone accompanied by Pancake Cookie's ridiculous cuteness, the Snowflake Choir delivered joy, warmth, and happiness to everyone on that cold winter day. Thanks to them, the Cookies could imagine a mesmerizing veil of emerald green, azure, and violet... illuminating the northern skies somewhere out there. Forgetful of the chilly wind, they sang along, clapped, and tapped their crunchy feet to the song's rhythm.
"Are the northern lights really that beautiful, Snow Sugar Cookie?"
"They are like a gift from Winter itself... You can only see them on the coldest days!"
Excited, everyone listened to Snow Sugar Cookie's words.
"We must go there all together!"
Who could have thought that Cookies could get so inspired by the choir's song, they would dare don their warmest clothes and depart for the ice plains.
"OH, I hope we see the aurora tonight," someone said.
"Look, LOOK! It's happening!"
For Snow Sugar Cookie, it was a dream come true. Indeed, tonight's aurora was even more magnificent than a few days ago. The Cookies formed a circle and stood there in awe.
"It's cold but so pretty! Thank you, Snowflake Choir!"
"No, thank YOU for coming all the way here!"
Snow Sugar Cookie couldn't be happier. This was their best winter ever. The aurora might be beautiful, but could it beat real friendship?
