The Tearcrown was an underwater kingdom that was created around one of Sea Fairy Cookie's tears of longing for Moonlight Cookie. Ruled by Crimson Coral Cookie, it was inhabited by mermaids and various sea creature-Cookies, who took refuge there from the land Cookies that sought out the ocean's treasures.

Culture

The kingdom was home to a group of Cookies known as the Gem Mermaids, who were revered amongst the citizens. When each of the Gem Mermaids were ready, they would undergo the Sea Foam Rite and meet with the Almighty Sea in order to gain special powers. This event was highly anticipated by Gem Mermaids and regular citizens alike, with all inhabitants of Tearcrown being welcome to watch and celebrate.

Amidst a lunar eclipse, Abalone Cookie was able to successfully attack and pillage Tearcrown with the aid of a Gem Mermaid's pearl, purchased from Lord Oyster who was entrusted it by White Pearl Cookie. While the invasion would cause Sea Fairy Cookie to construct the Tower of Frozen Waves in an attempt to repel the attackers, it simultaneously led to White Pearl Cookie absorbing the kingdom's Sea Fairy Tear, turning into Black Pearl Cookie. This transformation would ultimately destroy the kingdom, reshaping it into the Duskgloom Sea under Black Pearl Cookie’s reign, and forcing its former inhabitants to abandon their homeland and seek refuge in other waters.
