Sprinkled Yeti (as well as their variant, Choco Chip Yeti) are regular enemies that typically appear in World Exploration Episode 13, Snow on the Black Wall. They are large, powerful melee units with cleaving regular attacks and disruptive specials attacks.
Behavior[]
Sprinkled Yetis typically spawn rearmost of the enemies spawned before moving towards the player's team. Their normal attack will knock back all targets within melee range and deal damage. They also have a special attack where they roll up a large snowball and throw it at the Cookies, stunning and dealing damage to everyone while also knocking them back.
Choco Chip Yetis attack in the same manner, but do not knock back their targets. They have a different special attack where they slam their arms down and deal damage to all targets in a small area in front of them.
In Stage Stage 14-10, the Elite Sprinkled Yeti at the end of the stage gains the Frenzy buff after taking direct damage equal to half of their Max HP, which increases the damage they deal and doubles their ATK SPD. The amount of damage required to activate this buff can be seen in a white bar below their HP bar. This buff can be dispelled.
Tips[]
- Despite mainly serving as a frontline for other enemies enemies, Sprinkled Yetis and Choco Chip Yetis can deal a considerable amount of damage compared to other enemies in Episode 13.
- Interrupting effects can be used to stop the Sprinkled Yeti's special attack, which can be both immensely disruptive and painful.
- In waves where Sprinkled Yetis are paired with Mountain Ents, it can be helpful to allow the Sprinkled Yetis to to push one's team back and out of the Mountain Ents' attack range. While this takes more time to clear a stage, it can help mitigate the amount of damage a team takes as it fights the Yetis.
- Stage 14-10 contains a powerful elite Sprinkled Yeti that not only stuns Cookies for a longer time, but gains Frenzy at half HP, which can be especially deadly in Dark Mode. Using Cookies that grant Debuff Resist, Stun Immunity or Stun Resistance will allow a team to avoid being nigh-permanently stunned, especially after it goes into a frenzy.
- The simplest solution is to dispel the buff with Skills such as Sweet Scheme. Priestess Cookie's Paper Charm also works in this regard.
