The Sonic Crossover Events were limited-time crossover Events that coincided with the limited release of Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie, as well as the Sonic's Green Hill game mode and the Welcome to Green Hill Decor Theme. They began on September 17, 2021 in the second half of the Heart of Courage and Passion update (v2.0), ending on October 16, 2021 and lasting 30 days. In these Events, players collected Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie's Soulstones to obtain and promote the two Cookies.

Unlike other gacha Events and Cookie releases, there was no random gacha pool to draw from. Instead, players used the Rings they would collect from both the Sonic's Green Hill mode and daily/mission Events to open Item Boxes, which allowed them to gather Chaos Emeralds. A full set of seven Chaos Emeralds directly granted one of the featured Event Cookies. Further participation allowed players to collect their Soulstones, which are required to promote them.

On the Events' conclusions, remaining Event-exclusive items such as Rings and Chaos Emeralds were converted into Coins while unused Soulstones were be converted into Mileage Points—thus, players were able to obtain and promote Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie while the Events were active. The only exception to this occurred upon the addition of ascension in the Ch. III: Heroes of the Light update (v3.3), in which players who owned 5-star Sonic Cookies and/or Tails Cookies were automatically rewarded enough Soulcores to ascend the two to 5A stars.

Sonic & Tails' Lucky Item Boxes

Sonic & Tails' Lucky Item Boxes was the main reward Event, where players could spend 1,000 Rings in order to open an Item Box. These boxes contained one of several listed rewards—once acquired, the item was be removed from the reward list, which only reset once all items had been claimed. It took 30,000 Rings to unlock every reward before the list reset, guaranteeing 6 each of Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie's Soulstones and one of each Chaos Emerald. Unlike previous similar Events, players could not manually reset the reward list.

Miraculous Chaos Emeralds

Miraculous Chaos Emeralds was a repeatable event where players use the seven Chaos Emeralds to claim a copy of either Sonic Cookie or Tails Cookie, with the reward swapping upon completion of a set. Acquiring subsequent copies rewarded 20 Soulstones of the respective Cookie.

Daily Gifts from Sonic

Daily Gifts from Sonic was a daily reward Event which would reward both a standard commodity and 500 Rings on each day. It required a player to log in daily to obtain every reward, rewarding up to 15,000 Rings total. Each reward could only be claimed on each respective day.

Collect Rings with Sonic & Tails

Collect Rings with Sonic & Tails was an Event where players completed Missions to obtain Rings. Completing the initial group of missions rewarded up to 21,400 Rings total, as well as 115 of each event Cookie's Soulstones. An additional 27 missions were added on October 1, which could reward up to 17,400 Rings.

These missions had various difficulties. Some were able to be completed immediately, such as those based on placing Decors or attempting Topping upgrades. Others required dedicated play, such as playing the Sonic's Green Hill mode or Kingdom Arena multiple times. Some were also based around promoting Sonic Cookie and Tails Cookie or upgrading their Skills' level, thus being more reliant on a player's collected Soulstones and Skill Powders.
