Song of the Night Sea is an Adventure Story released in the Song of the Night Sea update (v5.8) alongside its respective Special Episode. Segments of the Story are unlocked through progression in the Special Episode.
The Story tells how 
Star Coral Cookie searched for a way to restore the light of the Lunar Lighthouse, following only her grandmother's song.

- Both Starlight Mermaids, Shining Mermaid and Sparkling Mermaid, share identical sprites.
- In addition to the characters recorded in the Episode Collection section, three other characters also appear briefly in the story.
- Food Cart Vendor is an NPC that first in Episode 15's Dream Express story.
- Resting Sailor and Eating Sailor are NPCs introduced in this story who both have single lines of dialogue before never appearing again. Interestingly, despite not showing up again after initially appearing, both of them have unique sprites.
