Smart Researcher (Korean: 똑부러진 연구원, ttogbuleojin yeonguwon) is an NPC introduced in the Wind, Piercer of Darkness update (v5.9).

This Cookie works in the Laboratorium with the Cookies of Darkness, conducting additional experiments with dough and Life Powder alongside Inquisitive Researcher. They value behaving in a professional and cooperative manner above all else—if only to save their own neck and those of their coworkers. Despite their cool exterior, they are deeply stressed to the point of instability because of their dangerous work situation.
