Shield

Shield is a buff in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

Effect

Shields are used to absorb direct damage received equal to the caster's Max HP (unless stated otherwise).

Debuffs such as Shields Blocked and Zap will dispel Shields and prevent them from applying.

Great Sage's Gem	(Undispellable) Increases all allied Cookies' DMG Resist by 15%. Whenever an ally gains Immortality, they are permanently granted the Great Sage's Gem buff, increasing their ATK by 20%, DMG Resist by 15%, and Max HP by 35~75% (triggers once for up to 3 Cookies per battle). Additionally, their HP is restored for 5~10% of Max HP every 4 sec (infinite duration) and gain an HP Shield absorbing DMG equal to 20% of Max HP for 4 sec.
Hollyberrian Royal Necklace	Upon activation, Shields all allies and grants them Curse Protection for 6.5 sec, absorbing DMG equal to 15~35% of their Max HP, and increases their DMG Resist by 5~17.5% for 6.5 sec. Each subsequent activation increases the HP Shield capacity by 3%.
Sacred Pomegranate Branch	Upon activation, Shields all allies (excluding Summoned Creatures) for 13 sec, absorbing DMG equal to 55~70% of their Max HP.

Hit Shield

Hit Shields will block direct damage a certain amount of times, being considerably useful to the caster if damage taken is mainly from single instances. They are unaffected by Shields Blocked and Zap.

Indirect damage such as Periodic Damage debuffs ignore these entirely.

Unique Shield

Unique Shields are similar to regular Shields, but have additional mechanics and will ignore the Shields Blocked and Zap debuffs.
