Shadow of a Star (Korean: 별의 그림자, byeol-ui gulimja) is an NPC who was introduced the Song of the Night Sea update (v5.8).
It is a shadow of a Cookie who became a star, a remnant left behind that must remain at the City of Wizards for reasons not known to anyone, including itself.

- Shadow of a Star's Appearing Cookies section of Song of the Night Sea reads as such:
- A passing traveler's visit can wake this shadow up from its silent slumber in the dark corners of the City.
- What could have created this shadow? Neither itself, nor Stardust Cookie himself can tell.
- This shadow is a mere remembrance left to wander the City of Wizards. It had no way of learning about things Stardust Cookie was unaware of.
- At times, stars do let their whispers be overheard by their shadows, unknowingly sharing
