Royal Margarine Cookie (Korean: 로얄마가린맛 쿠키, loyalmagalin-mat kuki) is an Epic Cookie released alongside 
Pitaya Dragon Cookie in the Legend of the Red Dragon update (v4.5). He is of the 
Ambush type and his position is prioritized to the 
Middle.
Royal Margarine Cookie is the buttery-smooth last descendant of Dragon City's esteemed Dragon Rider Clan. He spends his days jaunting about the city, wooing passerbys with his sleek looks and formidable dragon partner, Buttercream. However, if one looks close enough, one could almost swear that he's not made of real butter, and that his partner isn't a real dragon...

When the shadow of the golden dragon glides over Dragon City, it is not fear and dread that fills the old alleyways, but rather excitement and anticipation. The famous Royal Margarine Cookie has arrived! Look at those sleek locks, jaunty attire, and the shiny butter knife tucked under his belt— there is no doubt that this Cookie is the last descendant of the legendary Dragon Rider Clan. Indeed, any seasoned dragon hunter will immediately know that his companion Buttercream is no dragon but a wyvern. But as long as Royal Margarine Cookie is using his dazzling smile as a distraction, such details are no longer of importance. Be careful, however: just one look at that smile is enough to make anyone fall for this handsome Dragon Rider!

Appearance[]
Royal Margarine is an average-sized cookie with beaver brown dough and a slick but still lightly buff body. His smirking face has eyes that adorn a muddy waters yellowish-brown coloration with one curly eyebrow while the other remains normal. There's a scar besides each of his eyebrows, one being a single line while the other is two lines forming an X. His hair is very albescent white, shaped backwards into a stylish curly toupet almost resembles a small mane along with a crown-shaped beard on his chin of the same color.
His outfit resembles the average 1800's men attire, he wears a copper-colored vest with four golden buttons under the opened v-collar that also has white flaps going outwards, said v-collar shows a bit of his curly chest hair. The vest also has long puffy sleeves, both the same color as his hair, that reach all the way to his black-gloved hands. On his hip he has a tightened mustard yellow tape holding a small butter knife close to his body. He also wears tight brown legs that blend in with his shoes.
Personality[]
Royal Margarine Cookie is shown to be a very flirtatious, charming, and (considered by some) sleazy Cookie, with his introductory scene in Legend of the Red Dragon immediately showing him enchanting a group of excited female Cookies. This extends to the strong-willed 
Hollyberry Cookie, with whom he tries to flirt multiple times. He is also quite cocky and boastful, especially about his status as the last dragon rider of his clan—parading about his dear Buttercream Wyvern like a show dog—and of his dashing, rugged looks.
Growing as a Cookie, even when it's difficult
Underneath his suave exterior, Royal Margarine Cookie hides multiple insecurities, leading him to exaggerate his achievements. The most obvious one is that his supposed dragon Buttercream is actually just a wyvern. While drunk, he also reveals that he never became a real dragon rider, as he was too scared of the bellowing dragon roars as a 12-year-old child and met Buttercream by pure chance. In spite of his cowardice and dishonesty, Royal Margarine Cookie nevertheless always had a genuine desire to be a hero who helps fellow Cookies, seeming to fail at this through his own doubt in his abilities and worth as a Cookie. Eventually, he finally tries working towards this wish to help others after rescuing an abandoned young Cookie in the blazing Dragon City and dedicating himself to helping the protagonists of Legend of the Red Dragon in defeating the false Red Dragon.
Despite his apparent fear of dragons, Royal Margarine Cookie harbors true care and love towards Buttercream, even beyond complimenting her to stoke his own false ego. He has stated himself that he "gives Buttercream a good back scratch every evening" and dotes on her even when the two are alone. As the two met while Royal Margarine Cookie (and in turn perhaps Buttercream herself) was young, it is likely that the two are deeply bonded through their extensive time together.

- According to his loading screen trivia, "Buttercream is made of real authentic butter, unlike Royal Margarine Cookie!"
- Royal Margarine Cookie's Appearing Cookies section in Legend of the Red Dragon reads as such:

- Royal Margarine Cookie was first teased on May 15 via Twitter using a colored silhouette of his gacha art alongside butter and dragon emojis. While the emojis represented Royal Margarine Cookie and Buttercream as a duo, the misleading nature of the outline combined with the emojis led many to assume that the upcoming Cookie would be a "Butter Dragon".
- Royal Margarine Cookie's Taiwanese voice actor, Xia Zhishi, also provides the voice of Dr. Evilglaze.
