Trivia[]
- It is likely that the treasures the Elder Pilgrim's Torch and Old Pilgrim's Scroll were obtained from this village in lore.
- Wizard Cookie describes the architecture as "clay huts".
- Chili Pepper Cookie describes the village as "pretty big and well-off".
- Just outside of the village is the Traveler's Rest. Beyond the village is the Hero's Gate, consisting of trials devised by the Pilgrim Village Elder.
- The village is regularly bothered by Ginkgoblins, so much so that the Pilgrim Village Elder "called for workers to build a wall against [them]". One of the Pilgrims also appear to be a Ginkgoblin pretending to be one.
- The village seems to rely somewhat on tourism or visiting Cookies, with the Pilgrim Village Trader offering soda to newcomers and justifying the ludicrously high prices by saying "we all have to eat, right?"
- The Pilgrim Village Elder, after offering advice to GingerBrave and company, attempts to interest them in their "local crafts and goods" before they leave. The Elder's reasoning is similar, saying "We all need to make a living, right?"
- The village was likely founded (or at least heavily sought) by refugees of the Vanilla Kingdom in the aftermath of the Dark Flour War, as many of the pilgrims dress similarly to the kingdom's former residents and seem to be deeply aware of its downfall.
- A Young Pilgrim says that "every Cookie was happy in the great Vanilla Kingdom", indicating that stories of the fallen kingdom continue to be passed on.
