Awakened King - With his newly found strength, Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie swings the Chocoblade to deal damage, inflict Injury and Fatal Wound, and apply a CRIT Resist debuff. After this, Dark Cacao Cookie will borrow the strength of the Twin Dragons for a forceful downward strike, increasing Darkness-type damage and applying Consuming Darkness and Gloom. At the beginning of battle, Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie will increase the allies' DMG Resist with a Royal Decree. Inspired by his Kingly Presence, Charge Cookies will gain increased DEF and Max HP. Dark Choco Cookie's Channel Darkness will become more efficient, and his DMG Resist will increase.
Rally Effect: Channel Darkness - Portion of Darkness-type DMG dealt by Cookies returns as Healing (not counted as Healing).
Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie is an awakened version of Dark Cacao Cookie.
★6 is the max grade for Awakening.
One star will be added for ★1–5 Awakening, and one big star will be displayed once the Cookie reaches ★6 Awakening.
To awaken a Cookie, players need to obtain their Soulprisms.
Only three Ancients (awakened or not), Legendary or Dragon Cookies can be used in the Kingdom Arena.
After awakening, the Cookie's appearance, lobby design and dialogue lines will permanently change, and will have subtle changes depending on their awakening level.
Awakened Cookies will gain Rally Effects, and their skill is replaced with the awakened version.
Any Costumes or Cookie Decor interactions with Dark Cacao Cookie after his awakened state will be unavailable until future updates.
Heavenly Fruit - With a gentle flick of a peach tree branch, Peach Blossom Cookie summons a Peach Tree that will periodically heal the team and bear Peach Bao fruits. The ally with the lowest Current HP will receive additional Healing. Peach Blossom Cookie will give Heavenly Fruits to the allies to increase their DMG Resist and Debuff Resist. The fruit will also grant resistance to Apathy, and ATK and DMG Resist buffs when affected by Apathy. Enemies will receive Unripe Peach Baos, inflicting DMG, reducing their ATK SPD and MOV SPD. Peach Fragrance will protect Peach Blossom Cookie, making him immune to Apathy.
Downpour of Darkness - Blades of darkness rain down on the enemies, dealing extra damage and inflicting them with a debuff Darkness-type damage. The rest of the team will gain a buff increasing Darkness-type damage dealt.

Some battle stages have the Yin and Yang effect applied.
White Effect (Yang): Enemies gain buffs when the Yang gauge is full. Their ATK and DMG Resist increase for a certain period of time, and they will receive less damage from Darkness-type attacks.
Black Effect (Yin): Allies gain buffs when the Yin gauge is full. Their ATK and Darkness-type attacks, DMG Resist, and Healing from Channel Darkness increase for a certain period of time.
In certain stages, Cookies become affected by Apathy and lose a percentage of their Max HP when hit by enemies.
The Tactical Skill, Twin Dragons, becomes available starting from stage 4-10 in Dark Resolution’s Glorious Return.
Witness the power of the awakened Dark Cacao Cookie with this Tactical Skill. Upon using the skill, the team’s Yin energy greatly increases. If Yin and Yang has already been triggered, this effect will be activated at the end of Yin and Yang’s duration. Whenever enemies gain a buff, it will be removed. If Dragon Lord Dark Cacao Cookie is on the team, Awakened King will enhance the Twin Dragons skill.
Pull Beast Cookies and Soulprisms for Ancient Cookies from a selected theme with a higher chance. New themes will be added in the future.
Gacha of Fate uses Fateful Cookie Cutters and Fateful Cookie Tickets.
Fateful Cookie Cutters can be obtained for clearing Beast-Yeast episodes.
For players who have already claimed rewards for earning 3 stars in the Beast-Yeast episodes, Fateful Cookie Cutters will be delivered via the in-game mailbox when the update releases.
Fateful Cookie Tickets can be obtained from events, but expire when the update ends.

In the Big Bao Brawl, you will have to set up your team and deal as much damage as possible in the battle with the Big Bao.· Use Coins to receive random beneficial effects.· Use Steamin’ Dumplings to gain and upgrade passive effects.
In battles with the Big Bao, there is a certain chance of finding Steamin’ Dumplings and Steamin’ Golden Dumplings that can be exchanged for various items in the Shop.

Trivia[]
This update was originally intended to release on June 19th, 2024. However, community backlash pushed its release date. A compensation of 3,000 Crystals, 100 Juicy Stamina Jellies, and 100 Radiant Beascuit Dough was sent to the mailbox to claim before this update released.
This patch would have introduced the Ancient+ rarity, but ended up being scrapped from the game.
The minor update at July 5th was due to the postponement of the original update's plans.
A package related to Mystic Flour Cookie listed 30 Fateful Cookie Cutters, but due to a bug, provided 300 instead. Compensation was provided for players who purchased that package during the update period on July 24th, 2024.
After v5.6, the Light of Apathy was replaced with 30 Fateful Cookie Cutters, so players purchasing in this update will be compensated for that.
