Moonlight Shards is a limited-time event released in the Invitation from the Slumbering Moon update (v4.0), coinciding with the release of Moonlight Cookie. It ran from January 19th, 2023, to March 9th. In it, players complete Constellation missions in order to earn Moonlight Shards, which are required for the Moonlight Shards Gacha.

Overview

Missions are grouped under different Constellations. Completing all of a Constellation's missions completes the Constellation, granting a greater one-time reward.

Constellations follow a specific order, with one Constellation that refreshes each day and eight Constellations that only grant their rewards once, three of which are unlocked in the beginning of the event. Later Constellations are unlocked by completing a certain number of missions from earlier Constellations; progress cannot be made for most missions if their Constellation are still locked.

Players should aim to unlock Constellations as quickly as possible by completing missions in earlier Constellations in order to begin making progress for later missions with higher requirements.
