Meat Dumpling King (Korean: 고기만두 사천왕, gogimandu sacheon-wang, "Meat Dumpling Heavenly King"), also known as the Meat Dumpling King of the East, is an NPC who appears in the first part of the The Awakening of White Apathy update (v5.5) in Episode 3 of World Exploration: Beast-Yeast, The Awakening of White Apathy.
Meat Dumpling King is one of the four Dumpling Kings who uphold 
Mystic Flour Cookie's worldview.
Character Inspiration[]
Mystic Flour Cookie's empire is based upon Han Buddhism.All four of the Dumpling Kings are based directly on the Four Heavenly Kings (Sanskrit/Pali: चतुर्महाराज, Chaturmahārāja; Simplified Chinese: 四天王, Sìtiānwáng) of Buddhism. Like the Dumpling Kings, the Four Heavenly Kings are devas (Sanskrit/Pali: देव), or celestial beings, who watch over aspects of the natural world while heralding over the four cardinal directions. The latter portion of each of the Dumpling Kings' original Korean names (사천왕, sacheon-wang) is the same term used to refer to the Four Heavenly Kings of Buddhism in Korean.
Based on the cardinal direction which they protect, Meat Dumpling King would be inspired by Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Sanskrit: धृतराष्ट्र; Pali: Dhataraṭṭha; Simplified Chinese: 持国天王, Chíguó Tiānwáng), the King of the East. However, the similarities end at their shared direction; Dhṛtarāṣṭra is the King known to carry a pipa and sometimes be depicted with green skin[1][2], which more closely matches Chives Dumpling King. Meanwhile, Meat Dumpling King's acts of "blessing good Cookies" aligns more with the King of the North, Vaiśravaṇa (Sanskrit: वैश्रवण; Pali: Vessavana; Simplified Chinese: 多闻天王, Duōwén Tiānwáng), who often represents prosperity and grants the wishes of those considered virtuous under Buddhist dharma[3]; Meat Dumpling King's three-tiered dumpling steamer also altogether resembles the tiered structure of a pagoda, which Vaiśravaṇa often is depicted as holding[4].
