This Magic Candies Tier List is the Cookie Run: Kingdom Wiki's unofficial ranking of the Magic Candies seen in-game based on their utility and effectiveness in different gamemodes. This list also includes Crystal Jams, which are referred to interchangeably with Magic Candies. Currently, Magic Candies and Crystal Jams here are ranked by their versatility in World Exploration and Kingdom Arena.

Due to the scarcity of Sugar Crystals and Resonant Ingredients, determining which Magic Candies or Crystal Jams to pursue can go a long way in making the game much less difficult than it has to be. Some Magic Candies are useful nearly regardless of any situation, while others can be outclassed by other Cookies' base skills.

Unlocking the power of good Magic Candies by leveling them up to Level 20 is often the most efficient course of action. Although some Magic Candies gate exclusive effects at their highest level, the materials required to reach those levels can take a significant amount of time to collect, especially for Crystal Jams. Investing in other Magic Candies with relevant utility is often the wiser choice, especially given how quickly the metagame can change by the time a Level 30 effect can be unlocked. However, this doesn't mean that leveling the Magic Candy of one's favorite Cookies up to +30 can't be a rewarding goal, given the many utilities that each Magic Candy offers.

S	S-tier Magic Candies are so powerful, their Cookies should be acquired as soon as possible just to access their upgraded Skill.
A	A-tier Magic Candies grant incredible Skills that deserve to be leveled, and can function well in many different situations.
B	B-tier Magic Candies are great improvements of the original Skill, and are worth both unlocking and leveling up given the right strategies to use them in.
C	C-tier Magic Candies are decent upgrades that appreciate being taken to Lv. 10, but are outclassed even at their max level by other existing Skills.
D	D-tier Magic Candies are minor improvements of the original Skill at best, and should likely be left at Lv. 1.
F	F-tier Magic Candies sabotage the Cookie instead of improving them, and should be avoided until they get buffed.

Explanations

S Tier Last Wind increases Wind Archer Cookie's damage exponentially via increasing his attack speed. It deals extra damage according to his ATK SPD boost rate, which is already increased even further with his Rally Effect. Moreover, he gains increased damage resist at the start of the battle, making him extremely tanky. Finally, each lightning fast attack increases his ATK, Wind-Type DMG, and CRIT - leaving him to be an unstoppable force. Blast from the Future makes Twizzly Gummy Cookie an unrivaled DPS when paired with Black Lemonade Cookie. It deals extra damage, has higher CRIT DMG, and applies up to 5 stacks of Zap on enemies, allowing it to deal ridiculous amounts of damage when paired with the Electrifying Rock Spirit buff from Electrifying Rock!, shredding through almost any enemy that isn't immune to Zap. Leveling it up allows it to increase the Electricity-type DMG dealt by the team. Black Shark Torpedo Mk.2 grants even more damage to an already-incredible Skill, helping Captain Caviar Cookie instantly clear enemy waves even better than he already can. Although it gets reoriented to targeting the frontmost enemies, it also gains free DMG Resist Bypass to get past other Cookies' DMG Resist. Every level breakpoint adds an additional torpedo to the end of the Skill. Lightning Blitzstorm TBA A Tier Secrets of the Tome gives the Skill the Zap debuff, deals extra damage, and grants Electricity-type Cookies the Current Charge buff, making Blueberry Pie Cookie a reliable damage dealer in teams that can enable her Sealed Power charges. Against the Living Abyss, she can deal incredible amounts of damage to all the targets via a constant stream of damage, provided her teammates disable the Licorice Oozes enough. She also gives more Electricity-type CRIT DMG to her team as it levels up. Tour Guide Expert primarily deals more DMG and grants Mango Cookie a HP Shield whenever he uses it. Once it's leveled up, however, it also has a chance to apply heavy Weakness debuffs on enemies, making them significantly easier to defeat and being very good against bosses like the Red Velvet Dragon if the player gets good RNG. Downpour of Darkness increases the Darkness-type DMG dealt by Dark Choco Cookie and the Darkness-Type DMG taken by enemies, and can inflict Amplified Debuffs and Received CRIT DMG Up to enemies if leveled up. This makes him very good when used alongside Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord) against the Red Velvet Dragon and other enemies that can take debuffs. Sentinel's Strike may seem like it only primarily does DMG and has a more generous area-of-effect than the base Skill. However, once it's leveled up, it makes the Red Velvet Dragon a breeze for Black Raisin Cookie via numerous Weakness debuffs it inflicts, and can do the same to any enemies that take the brunt of the Skill's hits. Eternal Frost is an incredible Skill upgrade, increasing all Ice-type DMG dealt and granting it a chance to Freeze. Frost Queen Cookie's Crystal Jam adds a blizzard at the beginning of her ability that hits multiple times, allowing her to potentially Freeze enemies before the final Freeze burst at the end of the Skill. The final burst will also inflict Chilled on targets that can't be Frozen, debuffing them with reduced DEF and MOV SPD and converting into Freeze if their immunity runs out. Fervent Prayer deals more damage and also deals extra damage to vulnerable to Wind-type damage. At +10, it removes the damage reduction that Ricochet hits have; at +20, she gives herself +30% CRIT DMG and more extra Ricochet DMG per hit; and at +30 she gives herself even more Ricochet DMG per hit. Enemies with Trace of the Wind will even get knocked back on each hit, giving it synergy with Wind Archer Cookie. Extra Cream is a very good improvement to Cream Puff Cookie's original Skill. Once she has both CRIT% Toppings and her Magic Candy, she'll be able to heal nearly any team from almost no HP back to full, all the while increasing everyone's CRIT DMG the further it's leveled up. It can be replaced by Mystic Flour Cookie, Cream Ferret Cookie, or Star Coral Cookie, though. Finality of Resolution shoots 6 arrows on each attack instead of up to 3, deals additional area DMG on each hit, and increases Caramel Arrow Cookie's CRIT%, ATK and DMG Resist if a ranged attack's target has Consuming Darkness applied. She'll gain a free ATK SPD buff for the whole battle if leveled up. Paladin of Light TBA. B Tier Music of the Wind lets Mint Choco Cookie grant more healing, buff Wind-Type Cookies, and debuff enemies with Airborne and Wind-type DMG Up. It grants more Healing as it's leveled up, and at the level breakpoints, it allows him to heal allies whenever his regular attacks deal damage. He even gains the ability to deal Wind-type damage with regular attacks if it reaches max level. Snare of the Deep becomes capable of Snaring whole enemy waves. She prinmarily empowers Water-type Cookies like Captain Caviar Cookie and Sea Fairy Cookie so that they can clear enemy waves in one hit. Snowy Forest primarily grants Pinecone Cookie much-needed tankiness but also some free ATK SPD if it's leveled up, which helps a lot when used against Living Abyss. Rising Tide's Rally Effect and Skill both increases Water-type DMG and CRIT DMG, dealing high damage and Stunning enemies. She alternates between enhanced Tidal Waves and her regular skill, and can even Silence enemies when it's leveled to +10. Paladin's Devotion is a fantastic upgrade to an already powerful Skill, especially in the Kingdom Arena. While the original Skill supported only the Cookie with the most ATK, this Magic Candy lets Financier Cookie grant DMG Resist and healing to the entire team, along with boosting the defensive stats of the Cookie she protects. It'll also grant Immunity for a duration as long as its own cooldown, granting both Financier Cookie and her protected ally immunity to debuffs for essentially the whole battle. Leveling it boosts the amount of healing she grants to the team, and inflicts Light-type DMG Up on enemies at its level breakpoints. Sweet Melody makes Parfait Cookie a pretty good healer, able to both protect a Cookie with the highest ATK from debuffs for a short while and convert overhealing on allies into HP Shields. While the Immunity it grants lasts for only a short while, it provides a good means to regularly purify debuffs from the highest ATK Cookie. Leveling it up grants it a much-needed burst heal. Refreshing Waves grants additional HP Shield, grants additional stats to Water-type Cookies, and cleanses both Burn and Spice Smog from the team. Leveling it up grants additional burst Healing at the level breakpoints, and adds healing-over-time to allies cleansed from debuffs at Level 10. Crepe Energy Blast! makes Strawberry Crepe Cookie a very solid defense, boosting both themself and two Cookies with the highest ATK. Their Skill also becomes resistant to interrupting effects, Stuns enemies it hits, and reduces their MOV SPD, making enemies much easier to disrupt. Help Me, Snow King! makes the Snow King impossible for any enemy force vulnerable to Frost to deal with, on top of keeping Snow Sugar Cookie alive while active. Combining it with Eternal Frost makes for a truly relentless blizzard to throw at opponents, one that can Freeze them at any time. Raspberry Sword Dance TBA. Abyssal Tentacles makes short work of most enemy waves, especially if they have DEF Down, all the while keeping Squid Ink Cookie intangible for a longer duration due to the added hits that it gains. To enable its bonus damage, it also lets Squid Ink Cookie inflict DEF Down to enemies with their regular attacks. If it's leveled, it grants DMG Resist afterwards for each enemy struck. Lone Hunter makes Werewolf Cookie a much more viable tank, able to stun massive waves with his attacks, inflict Injury and then take them out in the final hit. The Final Hit deals more damage the more HP he has, and leveling the Magic Candy allows his attacks to stack Torn Scar as well, dealing damage upon activation based on the amount of Injury on targets. Twinkling Starry Sky replaces the base Skill with one that initially deals less damage in a set circular area instead of a stagewide projectile. Although it inflicts Sleep immediately for a longer duration, it deals less damage until it reaches its +10 and +20 level breakpoints. Unlock this Skill only if Moonlight Cookie's team can make up for the lost damage, or unless enough significant investment can be made in leveling the Crystal Jam. C Tier Cocktail Party TBA. Dreamy Blue Flame lets Cream Unicorn Cookie deal Fire-type damage, inflicting Burn on enemies and healing allies based on the damage these debuffs deal. It buffs the team's Fire-type DMG if it's leveled. Flaming Mala makes the Skill's CRIT% buff teamwide with Spicy Mala and grants Mala Sauce Cookie a Stun. She'll gain DMG Resist from enemy attacks if it's leveled, and can increase the team's Fire-type CRIT DMG at +30. Licorice Curse makes Licorice Servants deal more damage, as well as applying a variety of debuffs such as Silence, DEF Down, and Healing Down to a single target. It grants Licorice Cookie a HP Shield if it's leveled. Duskgloom Hatred—even though it doesn't relatively do much damage—makes a huge difference in the team's offensive power by granting DMG Resist Bypass to the whole team via its Rally Effect, by up to 25% at Lv. 30. Against a Cookie with about 50% DMG Resist, Black Pearl Cookie would be able to reduce that to down to 37.5%. On top of that, the whirlpool can now trap foes in Water Cages, which pause Cooldowns and prevent foes from doing anything. This only occurs if Black Pearl Cookie builds her newfound Hatred up to maximum, which becomes easier the more Lividness she gains from watching allies fall. This Skill has the most use within the Kingdom Arena and other competitive modes, since players' Cookies make use of DMG Resist while PvE enemies almost never do. Best Shot in the Kingdom deals tons of single-target damage, and even gives Rye Cookie's regular attacks a chance to inflict Burn. It grants ATK SPD Up to the team when it's leveled. Power of the Light grants Madeleine Cookie a lot more tankiness he otherwise wouldn't have, and gives him extra-powerful light wave attacks every few attacks too. He'll heal himself each time he unleashes this light, gain a HP Shield at the end of the Skill, and even grant Light-type ATK Up to the team if his Magic Candy is leveled up. Knight's Virtue makes Tea Knight Cookie have value even before his entire team gets wiped, and lets his Skill Stun the primary target and deal heavy damage. Scam comps use this to quickly take out enemies that can't defeat Tea Knight Cookie first. Fatal Bite does more damage and applies Vampiric Bite, making the Skill hit even harder on the next application. Leveling it up will grant Vampire Cookie a free revival. D Tier Stronger Cup of Latte deals more damage and applies a few various buffs and debuffs. It'll heal the team if it's leveled and extend the duration of Silence that the Skill inflicts. Perfect Extraction deals more damage and applies Stun and Injury at the final hit. It'll do more damage to Stun-immune targets if it's leveled. Noble Resolution makes Milk Cookie tankier during his Skill, and lets him heal up the damage dealt to him and purify his debuffs when it expires. If it's leveled, the Skill will also grant him Noble Resolution, increasing the damage his regular attacks deal. Shark Bite primarily grants damage and Injury debuffs to the Skill, and makes any frontline struck by it harder to heal up via Healing Down if it's leveled. Berserker's Fury makes Purple Yam Cookie tankier as the battle goes on, on top of making his spins hurt harder. The stacks will change into a large healing buff before stacking up again. Royal Bodyguard adds DMG to the final hit of Wildberry Cookie's Skill and a team-wide HP Shield that scales based off his Max HP. It'll improve the team's CRIT Resist if it's leveled.
