Kouign-Amann Cookie (Korean: 퀸아망맛 쿠키, kwin-amang-mat kuki) is an Epic Cookie released in the second part of the The Triple Cone Cup Begins! update (v4.4). She is of the 
Defense type and her position is prioritized to the 
Front.
Kouign-Amann Cookie is a renowned paladin of the Crème Knights Academy who defends the Divines with simultaneous strength and femininity. This Cookie served as the shining champion of her school in the Triple Cone Cup, competing against 
Capsaicin Cookie and 
Prune Juice Cookie to prove the Knights' honor.

The Crème Knights is a noble institution, known not only for its rich tradition of ceremony and good deportment but also for the frilly dress-wearing Paladin: Kouign-Amann Cookie! Don't let her lovely appearance distract you; this Cookie is blessed by the Light itself and can defeat even experienced Paladins with just a swing of her sword. Kouign-Amann Cookie always stays true to her path and fights with honor, so it's no wonder the whole school looks up to her. There was a time when the fear of defeat and disappointing those around her troubled Kouign-Amann Cookie greatly, but instead of running away she faced those fears and conquered the insecurity within herself. For those of you fearless enough to duel this honorable Paladin, may you have a strong conviction and a brave heart! After all, nothing motivates Kouign-Amann Cookie more than battling opponents who have already battled themselves!

Gameplay Notes | |
DMG Down from the Paladin's Way passive is undispellable.- Both regular attacks and enhanced attacks hit all enemies within melee range.
- Transformation lasts 8 seconds. While transformed, regular attacks alternate between a frontal slash and overhead slash.
- Attacks grant Kouign-Amann Cookie a stack of ATK SPD Up. Buffs from this effect are refreshed on each attack.
- Light Strike sends foes Airborne, but is affected by only 15% of ATK SPD buffs.
- If no enemies are in range when the skill's duration ends, Kouign-Amann Cookie will save her Light Strike and move forward, performing it only once an enemy is within range.

- Paladin's Way: Light-type allies will gain a +15% DMG Down buff for 10 seconds when they receive a debuff. This effect stacks up to x2 and will still trigger even if Kouign-Amann Cookie is already defeated.
- Transformed regular attack's extra DMG per ATK SPD buffs is now capped at 2,000%.
- Regular Attack ATK SPD Up buff duration is increased to 10 seconds.
- The ATK SPD Up buff's duration from casting the skill is increased to 10 seconds.
- ATK SPD Down Resist's duration is reduced to 10 seconds from 12 seconds, and the icon no longer appears.
- Light Strike has multiple unmentioned changes:
- Base DMG is added onto the regular skill's Light Strike DMG
- Now bypasses 20% of DMG Resist instead of 17.5%.
- Now affected by 30% of ATK SPD buffs instead of 15%.
- No longer automatically performed at the end of the transformation's duration.

Appearance[]
Kouign-Amann Cookie is a slim, average height Cookie with pale ivory dough. She has pink eyes which normally have a paler heart-shaped shine in them, each with a long prominent white eyelash. She has long golden blonde hair that reaches the hem of her dress and is styled into massive ringlets. A part of her hair is tied back in a pink bow on the back of her head. The ends of these ringlets are seen with a pink spiral inside them resembling jam. She also wears a silver tiara bonnet.
She wears a ball gown-like dress with a wide, layered skirt that stops by her ankles. The top two layers of this skirt are pink and each have a triangular slit in the middle to show its white inner layers. Both pink skirts have a frilly white hem resembling cream. The bodice of the dress is plated in silver armor that continues past the waistline to form a short armored skirt. The dress has poofy pink sleeves with two curls within each that resemble a heart. Kouign-Amann Cookie also wears long white gloves that completely hide her arms and silver armor on her legs.
She wields a broad, single-edged claymore that is taller than she is. Its blade is a very pale shade of pink and subtly widens outwards from its hilt before abruptly curving into a budlike shape at its tip. The hilt of the sword is a biscuit-colored shade of yellow with two winglike shape serving as its crossguard. A diamond shaped magenta gemstone is embedded between these wings and another of these gems serves as the sword's pommel. Kouign-Amann Cookie is most often seen holding the sword in her left hand and resting the dull side of the blade against her shoulder. When in combat, she wields the sword with both hands.

Kouign-Amann Cookie is based after the pastry of the same name. A kouign-amann is a small Breton cake comprised of thin, swirled layers of puff pastry and salted butter with a caramelized sugar coating. The Kouign-Amann become popular in South Korea after multiple popular bakeries started to sell them along with stuffed Kouign-Amanns, which is likely what Kouign-Amann Cookie is based on. [1][2]

- According to Kouign-Amann Cookie's loading screen trivia, "An honorable Paladin once said: Wearing a dress and wielding a sword is no different from dancing!"
- Kouign-Amann Cookie is the third Epic Cookie to have their own Costume at the same time of their release, the previous two being Cocoa Cookie and Cherry Blossom Cookie.
- Kouign-Amann Cookie was the first Cookie to be able to use two different types of Resonant Toppings, those being Triple Cone Cup Trio and Truthful Toppings.
- Besides her standard internal name of "cookie0577," Kouign-Amann Cookie is occasionally referred to as "queen" and "money" in Cookie Run: Kingdom's files.
- Kouign-Amann Cookie's Japanese and Taiwanese voice actress, Chinen Akiho and Jiang Qingyan, also provides the voice of Rookie Cookie.
