Kingdom Arena is the main PvP or PvE mode of the game, where players use their Cookie teams to battle other players' teams. Defeating other players rewards Trophies, which determine the player's Tier, and 
Medals of Victory, which can be redeemed at the Medal Shop for valuable items and Soulstones.
Each Kingdom Arena Season lasts for 28 days. Reaching 
Master Tier in an Arena Season rewards a Decoration exclusive to that Season, while 
Crystals and Medals of Victory are rewarded at the end of the Season based on the player's Tier.
Mechanics[]
In Kingdom Arena, players challenge other players' teams of Cookies by sending their own Cookie teams against them. Cookies in this mode have tripled Max HP and receive x1.7 more healing. Arena battles are always done on Auto-mode; players cannot influence the battle through manual timing of skills and non-auto Treasures. Instead, players must combine ideal synergies of Cookies and Toppings in order to defeat a variety of other player-created Cookie teams.
Players can choose from a list of 5 contenders for their team to battle. The contender list may be manually refreshed for free every 30 minutes, reduced to 10 minutes for Kingdom Pass holders. The list may also be refreshed without waiting for the duration at a cost of 300 Crystals, though this can only be used up to 30 times per day. Dropping or going up a Tier before 
Master 5 and above, or battling all 5 contenders, refreshes the list automatically.
At the end of a battle, players can see a breakdown of the damage dealt, absorbed, and healed by each Cookie. The "Fast-Forward" option, available to all tiers up to 
Elite 1, allows a battle's results to be calculated almost immediately, bringing players directly to the results screen.
Players must also manage their own Defense team, which other players can battle. If another player defeats their Defense team, the player can challenge the victorious player's own Defense team in a Revenge Battle.
Hidden Cookies[]
Starting from Arena Tier Master 5, tapping "Defenders" allows the player to choose a Hidden Cookie for their defense team. This obscures the identity of up to one chosen Cookie from attacking players. Starting from 
Elite 5, up to two Cookies can be hidden instead.
Players may use this feature to disguise the composition type that their defense team is running, typically allowing the most popular Cookies to be visible and instead obscuring roles that contain key parts of their strategy. Attackers must use all other available information to best guess the composition that they're facing, such as the power level of the defense team, the remaining Cookies and their placements, the Treasures chosen, and the trends of the current Arena metagame.
At Arena Tier Elite 5 and beyond, opponents' Kingdom names and profile pictures will also be scrambled. Their team's Power will be shown as rounded down to the nearest hundred thousand and only the first two numbers of their Trophy count will be shown.
Arena Tickets[]
Each battle requires the player to spend an Arena Ticket. Arena Tickets automatically recharge at a rate of 1 Arena Ticket every hour by default, up to a maximum of 8, though a player may hold an unlimited number of Arena Tickets if earned from other sources. 160 Crystals may be spent to recharge 8 Tickets instantly, up to 5 times per day. Alternatively, 100 Mileage can be spent. Players can reduce the recharge rate of Arena Tickets and increase the maximum quantity of Arena Tickets (up to 12 tickets) via the Sugar Gnome Laboratory.
Trophies[]
Trophies, which determine the player's ranking and tier, are either earned or lost by winning or losing Arena matches, with exact number changing based on the number of Trophies the player's opponent has. Trophies can also be earned or lost based on the victories and defeats of the player's Defense team, albeit by much smaller amounts.
Lower tiers require about 100 Trophies before allowing ascension to the next Tier, with Diamond Tiers requiring 200 Trophies. Master tier, Elite tier, and Grandmaster tier compares the player's Trophy amount to all other Master+ tier players in the server. At the end of each Season, end-of-Season rewards are given out based on one's final standing, and players are reset to the tier group below their highest achieved tier, up to Master 1.
Win Streak Bonus[]
Continuously winning in the Kingdom Arena allows you to obtain additional Trophies. These bonuses are only available until 
Master 1 and does not apply to Elite 5 and above. When you lose or refresh your opponent list, the Win Streak Bonus will disappear.

Medals of Victory[]
Medals of Victory are a special currency exclusive to player-versus-player modes that can be earned from victorious Attacks and Defenses in the Kingdom Arena. Medals are spent in the Medal Shop in exchange for exclusive, rare items. Players are also rewarded Medals each day based on their current Tier, which are delivered in a player's Mailbox. Medals carry over between Seasons.
Medal Shop[]
The Medal Shop is where Medals of Victory can be exchanged for various rare items. It refreshes once every 3 days. If a slot chooses a Cookie with the maximum amount of Soulstones, it will offer Soulcores instead for the same price.

Tier Shop[]
The Tier Shop, added in A Mermaid's Tale update (v4.9), is an expansion to the Medal Shop. Unlike the Medal Shop, the contents of Tier Shop are only accessible if the player reaches certain tiers in the Kingdom Arena. It refreshes after every season.

Victory Coins[]
Victory Coins are a special currency exclusive to Kingdom Arena that can be earned as a daily reward based on the player's current Arena Tier. Victory Coins are spent in the Ornament Shop in exchange for pedestal ornaments. Victory Coins carry over between Seasons. The maximum quantity for Victory Coins is up to a maximum of 1000.
Pedestal Ornaments[]
Since A Mermaid's Tale update (v4.9), players can obtain themed pedestal ornaments to decorate their pedestal, which will be shown to other players in their opponent battle list. These can be bought with Victory Coins, with the exception of the last ornament that unlocks after buying all ornaments of the theme in the shop. New ornaments are added after every three seasons.

Arena Challenge[]
Added in the The Triple Cone Cup Begins! mid-update (v4.4), the Arena Challenge is a permanent Event in which players gain various rewards depending on the number of Kingdom Arena battles fought. These rewards include the current season's profile picture, Coins, Crystals, Rainbow Cubes, and a themed Cake Hound decor.

Rewards[]
Reaching a new Tier each Season rewards a one-time gift of Crystals alongside a separate reward. The higher the Tier, the more Medals and Victory Coins earned as a daily reward, and the more Crystals and Medals received at the end of the Season. Higher tiers grant more Medals and Kingdom EXP per victory.

Grandmaster's Path[]
Grandmaster's Path is an extra reward path introduced in the middle of The Grand Cookie Games mid-update (v5.13) for players who remain in Grandmaster 1 at the end of a season. It grants two kinds of rewards: Season Rewards and cumulative Achievement Rewards.
Currently, Season Rewards consist of a season-specific titles, while Achievement Rewards consist of the animated Triumphant Glow profile picture.
Past Seasons[]
Arena Seasons are typically named after recently-released Ancient, Legendary, or Super Epic Cookies, with the only exception being the Brave Season. The Decorations and Profile icons shown below are currently unobtainable by any means; only the Decoration of the current Season can be obtained, via reaching Arena Tier Master V, and the standard and special profile pictures of the current Season can be obtained through participation and reaching the top 500 in the Arena's leaderboards during the Season respectively.

- If the player enlists
Eternal Sugar Cookie in a Kingdom Arena team, a special set of visual effects will ensue at the beginning of every match. For the first few seconds of each battle, translucent hearts are emitted from the audience and pulsing hearts replace the eyes of the statues, the idea being that Eternal Sugar Cookie has enraptured these onlookers with her beauty. This event triggers exclusively when the active player has Eternal Sugar Cookie equipped and will not occur if only their opponent has her equipped. Eternal Sugar Cookie is therefore currently the only character to trigger a unique visual effect on a Kingdom Arena match. - Burning Spice Cookie has been one of the featured Cookies in the most seasons, being featured in 4 seasons.
