Interrupting effects or interruptions are effects that halt a target's regular attack or skill. Skills that are interrupted are unable to perform most of their intended effects, and will instead go on Cooldown.

Crowd Control[]

Crowd control (also referred to as "incapacitation" in-game) refers to specific Status Effects that can interrupt units.

Status Taunted Taunted
Forced to target the caster with regular attacks and skill attacks. If a taunted enemy's skill involves multiple projectiles, one of them will be prioritized to the caster and other targets afterwards. If the taunted enemy's skill cannot reach the Taunt caster, the target will move so that their attacks will hit the caster.
Status Stun Stun
Cannot move, use regular attacks or skill attacks.
Status Shackles Shackles
Cannot move, use regular attacks or skill attacks.
Status Charm Charm
Cannot move, use regular attacks or skill attacks.
Status FreezeElement Ice Freeze
Turned to ice. Cannot move, use regular or skill attacks, and skill Cooldown is paused. Receives damage after the duration.
Status Fear Fear
Cannot use regular attacks or skill attacks. Forced to run away from their current position.
Status Light CageStatus Undispellable Debuff Light Cage
Imprisoned in a jail of light, regardless of resistance to debuffs. Cannot receive buffs nor move, use regular attacks or skill attacks. After the duration, receives damage relative to Max HP and is Stunned.
Status Sleep Sleep
Put to sleep. Cannot move, use regular or skill attacks, and skill Cooldown is paused. If the target resists this effect they will become Drowsy instead, eventually falling asleep once the resistance wears off.
Status Doughnut Beam Doughnut Beam
Turned into a donut. Cannot move, use regular or skill attacks. Skill Cooldown is paused.
Status Matcha MaliceStatus Undispellable Debuff Matcha Malice
Cannot move, use regular or skill attacks.
Petrification
Cannot move, use regular or skill attacks.

Skills[]

Some skills grant the user resistance to interrupting effects, allowing them to ignore these effects while casting their skill. This is signified by a flashing red outline around the user.

Certain skills can also ignore an opponent's resistance to interrupting effects, disrupting their skill regardless.
