Story

Some story sections in Holiday Express have Investigation and Deduction mini-games. Players need to use their observation and deduction skills to crack these cases and progress through the story. This page will provide both hints and solutions to each case. Most solutions are hidden in spoiler tags.

Chapter 1

After the Supper

Linzer Cookie's suite is too dark to see anything here. You need to light up this place first to check anything this room have.

Light up the room by dragging the lamp's string, and you'll already find a bunch of Linzer Cookie's belongings lying around. Her manuscript, ice cream cake, and the pamphlet containing the train's map and the itinerary will be handy. Check Linzer Cookie's handbag. Her notebook and fountain pen seems to be the only items of interest in it.

What a tragedy! Who could have done such a thing? Well, we won't know without enough evidence, so start looking it up! Investigate the room and the victim's body.

Investigate Old Jolly's suite

A report of this incident is made immediately. There are multiple objects present in the crime scene. Make notes about the investigation of their suite by looking at the clock, thermometer and book. The nearby book, A Piece of Cake! Dessert Science, seems to belong to the victim's. Might as well hold on to it.
