Bond Story
“Now where did you run off to this time? Can’t take my eyes off of you for a single moment!”
It was, in fact, the other way around. Princess Cookie was the one who was lost, but she couldn’t care less.
The Cookie continued to wander within the primeval forest, calling out to her trusty defender. Little did she know that she had gained a follower.. A Butter Tiger stalked in her wake, sneaking ever so silent towards Princess Cookie. The beast prepared to pounce and scare the Cookie away: none would bring harm to the forest or its animal denizens.
“Grrr... ROAR!”
“EEK!”
In her frantic attempt to escape, Princess Cookie tripped and fell. The Butter Tiger seized the moment and jumped. But what’s this? Princess Cookie looked familiar. No, similar. The Cookie resembled a dear friend, a trusted ally. Holding back at the last moment, the buttery feline stumbled upon landing. Despite the danger, Princess Cookie burst into laughter. Her giggles echoed throughout the woods. This Cookie was not afraid. The Butter Tiger righted itself and pondered, meeting a certain baby Cookie, near this very spot as well, came to mind.
The Butter Tiger, with its ears perked and head tilted in curiosity, ran off. It was at that moment Princess Cookie finally noticed another presence. Her eyes sparked in wonder as she first met the gaze of Tiger Lily Cookie. The Cookie seemed to be from a long-lost memory.
Princess Cookie stood in awe, all the while thinking to herself, “Is this Cookie an adventurer? Has she lived in this forest long? That’s so cool! I hope we can meet again someday...
From afar, Tiger Lily Cookie kept her gaze on Princess Cookie. Something stirred within her, but brushing it aside, she leapt upon her trusty Butter Tiger. As she disappeared into the shadows, the two shared one last glimpse into each other’s eyes. There was no mistake. Princess Cookie couldn’t wait to tell her loyal defender the tale.
Atop her Butter Tiger, Tiger Lily Cookie was distraught. “Cookie... Like me...”
She took one final, longing gaze behind her. “Where... I... from...?”
