With his newly found strength, swings the Chocoblade to deal damage, inflict Injury and Fatal Wound, and apply a CRIT DMG debuff. After this, Dark Cacao Cookie will borrow the strength of the Twin Dragons for a forceful downward strike, increasing Darkness-type damage and applying Consuming Darkness and Gloom.
At the beginning of battle, Dark Cacao Cookie will increase the allies' DMG Resist with a Royal Decree. Inspired by his Kingly Presence, he will gain increased DEF and Max HP and Charge Cookies will gain increased ATK. Channel Darkness will become more efficient for Dark Choco Cookie, and his DMG Resist will increase.

Channel Darkness
This Rally Effect checks for Cookies that have the Darkness element in their skills. They will receive healing from any DMG that they deal, even if the DMG is not Darkness-type.
Healing received from Channel Darkness is indicated by dark purple-colored numbers with a Darkness Absorption symbol. This form of healing can critically heal.
Healing received from Channel Darkness is unaffected by effects that would increase or reduce healing.
An aura appears above all Darkness-type Cookies if the Rally Effect is equipped.
At least 20 stacks of Consuming Darkness are required to meet the additional healing cap.
Swing of the Chocoblade
Dark Cacao Cookie resists interrupting effects while performing the attack.
At least 34% Injury is required to deal the maximum amount of additional damage.
Interrupting this attack will not cancel the Twin Dragons attack.
Twin Dragons
The attack can be delayed by Silence, but is performed as soon as the debuff expires following Swing of the Chocoblade, even if no targets are within range.
Dark Cacao Cookie becomes intangible while performing this attack. He reappears at his original position following the attack's completion.
At least 7 stacks of Consuming Darkness are required to deal the maximum amount of additional DMG.

Debuff Resist and DMG Resist buffs are undispellable.
Kingly Presence
DEF Up, Max HP Up, and ATK Up buffs are undispellable.

Dark Cacao Cookie's Dragon Lord outfit displays a distinct motif of duality in black and white. As expected of myeonbok (Korean: 면복), he wears a myeonlyugwan imperial crown (Korean Hangul: 면류관; Korean Hanja: 冕旒冠) with seven beaded lines—two in the front corners and five along the back. The board of his crown is fashioned after a thick bar of chocolate to hearken back to the Dark Cacao Kingdom.
The Grapejam Chocoblade he holds is still massive, but slightly shorter than him, with some very noticeable changes. The hilt of the sword now has a white four sided gem embedded into it. The guard of the sword resembles two halves of an Oreo cookie, one half being white, the other half being black, both of the halves' circular sides face upwards. The in-between point of the oreo halves of the sword which houses Dark Cacao Cookie's Soul Jam has a circle that is colored black and white to parallel the colors of the sides of the guard. The blade of the Grapejam Chocoblade has two sets of serrated "teeth" and the blade is evenly divided into white and black.
Character Inspiration[]
In his Dragon Lord appearance, Dark Cacao Cookie's manner of dress directly emulates the Korean myeonbok (Korean: 면복), a set of ceremonial regalia reserved for kings and emperors in the Joseon (Korean: 조선) dynasty. The pearlescent filigree scattered about his outfit is based on the decorative art of Najeonchilgi (Korean: 나전칠기), in which mother-of-pearl is inlaid on objects like hand mirrors and jewelry boxes and subsequently lacquered. The bilaterally-split nature of his outfit represents his mastery over the Black and White Dragons, over dark and light, and over black and white as a whole; he has achieved a perfect balance of yin and yang.
Trivia[]
Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord) was originally planned to be the first "Ancient+" Rarity Cookie to be released, which would have been a separate Cookie from the original version of Dark Cacao Cookie. Due to player feedback prior to the update's release, the system was withdrawn in favor of an Awakening system that would instead directly upgrade Dark Cacao Cookie.
Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord)'s clipping watering can
Upon Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord)'s release, an in-game-only visual bug existed in his back overworld idle animation in which the generic overworld watering can would clip through the back of his cape. This error would not appear when viewing Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord)'s Spine files externally nor was it present in promotional material. The issue has since been remedied.
Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord)'s in-game Tree of Wishes quote erroneously displays as his base form's quote, "Some wishes are not meant to come true..." According to the game's text files, the intended Tree of Wishes quote for Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord) is "For my loyal subjects!"
Dark Cacao Cookie (Dragon Lord)'s sprites and animation files are labeled using his originally-planned internal name, "cookie0606." Due to the impromptu addition of the Awakening system, his newer files use "cookie0508ak01."
His gacha portrait is also incorrectly labeled internally as both a Legendary Cookie and a Costume.

Dark Cacao Cookie has been shown to have been a younger Cookie in the past (Might of the Ancients)—likely a young adult due to his independence and of a similar age to the confirmed-adult Pure Vanilla Cookie at the time—and has since aged. He also has an adult son, Dark Choco Cookie, and has visible wrinkles.
