Explanations
S+ Tier
Wildberry Cookie proves once again that tanks can be fearsome attackers. Along with his higher base ATK stat than other Defense Cookies and a teamwide +15%
Damage Reduction buff, allies can survive burst compositions more easily. It helps him as much as them, since he needs to survive to continuously gain his
Wild stacks which will increase the damage of his
Wild Punch skill. Said skill also
Stuns his opponents and interrupts any Skills they could have used. His offensive-defensive utility is essential to survive in the current Arena meta, improving against teams that inflict multiple hits at a time.
Dark Cacao Cookie is a mass stat debuffer and
Shield-destroyer. By inflicting
Injury,
ATK Down, and
DEF Down, he ensures that enemies have less HP to withstand burst attacks, such as the damage output from
Solemn Judgment. While he functions well as a tank, it's his unique debuffs that provide the most utility.
Eclair Cookie has been an effective asset in the Arena ever since his release, to the point that he's prioritized over the Legendary Middle Cookies. His damage output can be surprising for a
Support Cookie, but he truly shines by applying the
Weakness debuff, which massively increases the damage dealt to an enemy and can stack up to 4 times if not purified. Enemies defeated under this effect even grants allies an HP Shield equal to +25% of their Max HP, which will protect your allies from further damage (especially if an enemy is revived).
Pomegranate Cookie used to be one of the worst Cookies for Arena, but a recent buff allowed her to become viable in recent metas. Her skill allows her to raise the ATK of her allies, which can greatly improve the viability of high damaging Cookies such as
Caramel Arrow Cookie,
Sea Fairy Cookie and
Eclair Cookie. While her healing may not be as much as other
Support or
Healing Cookies, she still pairs well with the likes of
Cotton Cookie and
Parfait Cookie in keeping the team alive.
Herb Cookie used to be overshadowed by Cookies such as
Pure Vanilla Cookie and
Cotton Cookie. But when
Caramel Arrow Cookie was released,
Herb Cookie was the only Cookie who could counter
Arrow of Resolution, making the difference between victory and defeat. Being able to purify all debuffs and heal the team for a substantial amount, Herb Cookie has became the primary healer for Arena.
Parfait Cookie's
Paru-paru-parfait!★ is one of the best healing skills in the game. With both a
DEF boost and
Debuff Resist Up, she can help any team withstand attacks from
Dark Cacao Cookie or
Sea Fairy Cookie. She's especially more effective against
Frost Queen Cookie and
Wildberry Cookie, as long as she can perform her Skill before they can debuff her team.
Sorbet Shark Cookie can deal an incredible amount of damage to all targets in a row, especially against annoying
Front Cookies. In fact, their best use is in prioritizing Front Cookies such as
Tea Knight Cookie or
Caramel Arrow Cookie, dealing true damage to those with the highest Max HP.
Sea Fairy Cookie is able to deal massive damage to all enemies and
Stun them all for 3 seconds. This opening can be used for either strong healers to heal your side or allow big damagers to get free hits. A solid choice with multiple uses around the game.
Frost Queen Cookie is similar to
Sea Fairy Cookie in that she's able to deal incredible damage and apply probably the best debuff in the game,
Freeze. Freeze is very similar to
Stun, save that it both stops Skill cooldowns from decrementing and deals an extra burst of damage based on how long the debuff lasted. Freeze both allows one's team to attack unabbated and make it very difficult for enemies to recover once the debuff wears off.
Clotted Cream Cookie is like a mix of the legendary cookies, dealing massive damage, and even true damage in the same way Sorbet can meaning he can outdamage even the legendaries. He's also able to stun, particularly in a similar way as
Frost Queen Cookie to one enemy in the frontmost row, in the sense that it's not technically a stun but works in the same way, and hitting all the enemies 22 times, after knocking back and stunning that frontmost cookie. He also gets a 17.5% damage resist buff while and after using his skill
Consul's Orders giving him a much-needed survivability boost.
Caramel Arrow Cookie's release changed the meta as we once knew it. Her Skill
Arrow of Resolution not only is able to nearly one-shot any Cookie that goes against her if she can inflict enough
Arrow Marks, but she can regularly become
immune to debuffs, including those inflicted by
Freezing Squall,
Solemn Judgment and
Wild Punch. Her prevalence in the recent Arena metas has shown that her power is nearly unmatched, especially when paired with
Librarian's Enchanted Robes.
Madeleine Cookie really shines with the help of
Librarian's Enchanted Robes. His
Commander's Honor grants him
Immunity, which when paired with
Caramel Arrow Cookie drastically reduces the effectiveness of enemy debuffs on the team, and his teamwide attacks can deal the chip damage needed to either finish off a low enemy or bring their Health down low enough for another ally to defeat.
S Tier
Cotton Cookie is one of the best Cookies in the game, if not the best. Sadly in Arena, she's outclassed by Cookies such as
Herb Cookie and
Parfait Cookie, she simply can't pull her weight against the strongest cookies in Arena. However she's a great early-game choice, as her
A Warm Light can
Stun the enemy and provide a good amount of healing. But the sheep aren't as good of a boost than
Paru-paru-parfait!★ or
Sunny Garden. She's been good in the past but in recent metas, she can't live up to her potential.
Hollyberry Cookie has great survivability, having the highest base HP stat of any other Cookie. Her
Oath on the Shield can direct damage from other cookies onto her, which can make
Ambush and
Magic Cookies live longer. Her skill also provides a good amount of Knockback as well, which can set up allies such as
Wildberry Cookie and
Sorbet Shark Cookie.
Tea Knight Cookie works the best with
Insignia of the Indomitable Knights and is a force to be reckoned with in his own meta. If his allies fall, he gets stronger, so he can pair well with Cookies with a lower HP stat, such as
Pumpkin Pie Cookie and
Eclair Cookie. Once he's the only Cookie left, his power is unmatched. His ATK SPD and ATK stat are incredibly high meaning it's nearly impossible for the enemy to take him out.
Strawberry Crepe Cookie's damage output alone isn't the best, but their
Crepe Thrust can deal a good amount of area damage, while also granting +50%
Damage Reduction on the two allies with the lowest health. Granting half damage to allies who can struggle easily, such as
Pumpkin Pie Cookie and
Licorice Cookie can turn the tables of the battle very quickly. Even more so when paired with
Hollyberry Cookie.
Pumpkin Pie Cookie is very frail, so she needs a strong healer such as
Pure Vanilla Cookie,
Cotton Cookie or
Parfait Cookie to keep her viable. She's not very good on her own, but Pompom is what makes her so powerful.
Pompon, help! is widely reguarded as one of the best skills in the entire game. Being able to summon an incredible tank, deals a lot of damage and inflicts
Healing debuffs. Another factor is that Pompom lasts for 20 seconds, and having
Squishy Jelly Watch can make sure that Pompom is always on the battlefield.
Pure Vanilla Cookie is the best healing cookie in the game, being able to essentially heal at least 1/2 of an ally's health, while also applying
Shields, which can help the whole team. However, he cannot attack normally, which means a lot of players sub him out for a
Support Cookie that can deal a good amount of damage or supply better buffs to the team. Usually
Cotton Cookie,
Parfait Cookie or the current
Herb Cookie.
