Chess Choco Cookie (Korean: 체스초코 쿠키, chesuchoko kuki) are an Epic Cookie released in the The One of Darkness Absolute update (v6.11). They are of the 
Bomber type and their position is prioritized to the 
Rear.
Chess Choco Cookie is the collective name for Pawn White Cookie (Korean: 체스화이트 쿠키, chesuhwaitu kuki, "Chess White Cookie") and Pawn Black Cookie (Korean: 체스블랙 쿠키, chesubullaek kuki, "Chess Black Cookie"), who are two young prodigies who act as one unit. They are each other's twin sibling.
Game Description[]
"Checkmate!" Two voices ring as one. Against them, no one stands a chance in a battle of wits upon the chessboard. Bars of dark and white chocolate were broken in half and whittled into the shape of Pawns. Once they were finished and set on the board, the twins began playing chess on their own! Come rain or shine, the two love to play on the chessboard. These siblings are inseparable, always hand in hand and walking together. When Pawn White Cookie opens the chess board, Pawn Black Cookie opens the chessboard, Pawn Black Cookie entices other Cookies to join a match. Playing a round each, the prodigies engage their opponents. Twins they may be, but their tactics and maneuvers are as distinct as day and night. Pawn Black Cookie favors a cautious strategy utilizing the King and Rook, Pawn White Cookie charges forward with an opening gambit to quickly promote Pawns into Queens. They have recently been singing about playing a new game, far more challenging and lucrative than chess. What exactly are they plotting other than chess openers?

- Pawn White Cookie applies their effects upon first skill cast, and Pawn Black Cookie applies theirs upon every other skill cast.
- Similar to
Linzer Cookie's Suspect, the Checkmate debuff bypasses any immunity to debuffs if applied to a World Exploration Boss.
Strategy[]
Due to World Exploration (Crispia) lacking difficulty for most episodes until The Lost Golden City and Goddess of Eternal Gold, Chess Choco Cookie is best used in Beast-Yeast stages, specifically bosses. However would require high promotions and support from other teammates to send out their 
Checkmate debuff. Their Checkmate debuff only works best against World Exploration bosses, so it won't work the same way in Cookie Alliance. They can still be used in lower Arena tiers/early game.
Appearance[]
Chess Choco Cookie are two tiny, young Cookies consisting of Pawn White Cookie and Pawn Black Cookie. Save for their opposite white and black color schemes, the two twins are nearly identical—Pawn White Cookie is themed after creamy white chocolate with pale dough while Pawn Black Cookie resembles milk chocolate in their brown complexion. Pawn White Cookie has relaxed, empty eyes in matte black with a tall smile while Pawn Black Cookie has sedate, black-lined white eyes atop a nonplussed expression. Both have round spots of blush on their cheeks, their colors hearkening back to the main hue of their opposite twin: Pawn White Cookie's cheeks are a latte brown, and Pawn Black Cookie's cheeks are a pale yellow. The twins each have short bobbed hair; Pawn White Cookie's is platinum blond with rounded, sideswept bangs while Pawn Black Cookie's is coffee brown with blunt bangs. The hairstyle of each has pointed sidelocks, though those of Pawn White Cookie point inwards at their face while those of Pawn Black Cookie point forwards.
The twins wear hats tall enough to double their height, each resembling pawn chess pieces with wide brims and displaying their thematic color in chocolatey tones. Their attire is simple and largely monochromatic, each wearing a turtlenecked smock with open sides. These aprons are emblazoned with a three-by-three checkerboard pattern and trail along the ground in one long, forked coattail. Underneath, they each wear a simple sweater, oversized with sleeves long enough to cover their hands. On their legs are featureless black leggings with no discernible shoes. The twins' clothing are identical other than being dyed in each Cookie's matching color: Pawn White Cookie dresses in cream with a pale clay checkerboard emblem while Pawn Black Cookie wears espresso brown with a cordovan checkerboard.

Chess Choco Cookie—both Pawn White Cookie and Pawn Black Cookie—are confirmed to be minor-aged. The following evidence confirms or otherwise supports this fact.
- Chess Choco Cookie were present in the Special Guests at the Merrybear Toy Shop! Event, in which only children appear.
Trivia[]
- According to their loading screen trivia, "Chess Choco Cookie have never met Dark Choco Cookie yet. Could it be that for them, he is somewhat of a fairy-tale prince?" According to another loading screen, "How many bars of chocolate did Chess Choco Cookie use to build the Grand Dust Hotel? Unknown, but enough to make Licorice Cookie scream."
- According to the Cradle of Darkness Story from Cookie Run: OvenBreak, Chess Choco Cookie come from the Dark Cacao Kingdom—whether they once lived there or were born from a Dark Cacao lineage elsewhere is unclear, however.[1] This connection likely only bolsters to their attachment to Dark Choco Cookie.
- The instance of Pawn White Cookie speaking first before Pawn Black Cookie is a nod to the chess tradition of White making the first move.
- Upon their initial Cookie Run: OvenBreak release, Chess Choco Cookie was the first playable Cookie to be multiple characters acting as one.
- Chess Choco Cookie's Taiwanese voice actress, Luo Yiwen, also provides the voices of numerous characters such as Milky Way Cookie, Mont Blanc Cookie, and Cranberry Cookie.
