Boss Rush is a seasonal game mode first introduced in the Spire of Shadows update (v6.0). Similar to Boss Hunt, it involves fighting stronger bosses using specific teams.
Game Description[]
- Assemble your teams to fight powerful boss enemies with unique abilities! Come up with different strategies and combinations to defeat bosses with rage effects.
- Boss Rush is a time-limited game mode. This season consists of two parts, and the rankings are calculated for each. Achieved Suppression Level and stage progress will be carried over.
- Each season will end with a tallying period during which playing will become unavailable.
- A batch of baddies will appear on Stage 6!
- Bosses
- You can tackle each boss in several attempts: their HP will not reset after each try. Move on to the next stage after defeating the current boss.
- Rage Effects
- Certain bosses in Boss Rush will enter Rage after their HP drops below a certain level. Their vulnerability and attack patterns change when they are Enraged: make sure to adjust your strategy!
- Synergy Effects
- Activate various Synergies depending on your team's composition.
- Check the list of Synergy Effects by tapping the info button. You can place Cookies automatically by selecting individual Synergies from the list.
- Explore special Synergy Effects to defeat bosses with greater efficiency!
- Suppression Level
- Raise your Suppression Level in Boss Rush to get stronger. You will need Suppression Spears, which can be obtained from the Battle Supply Chests.
- Star Bonus
- Gain buffs according to your Cookies' number of Stars for Promotions, Ascensions, and Awakening.
- Promotion: 1–5★ → 1–5 Stars
- Ascension: 1–5★ → 6–10 Stars
- Awakening: Awakening Stars added to Promotion and Ascension Stars
- Beast: 1–6★ → Doubled, 2–12 Stars
- You can only get up to 10 Stars from a single Cookie. Check information on Star Bonus buffs in the pop-up window.
- Practice Mode
- Practice battling the bosses in Practice Mode without spending tickets. You can choose to activate Rage for certain Bosses.
- Scores in Practice Mode are not reflected in the rankings.
- Continuing Battles
- You can continue battling the boss from where you left off after quitting the battle.
- Please note that logging in with a different device may delete your battle records and result in spending a ticket.
- Boss Rush Tickets
- Use Boss Rush Tickets to play in Boss Rush. These tickets are refilled daily at 00:00 (GMT+9) and can be purchased with Crystals or by watching an ad.
- Battle Supply Chests
- Battle Supply Chests are provided in the Boss Rush lobby. These chests include Suppression Spears and Challenge Coins. Rewards will automatically accumulate after a certain period of time. All players will receive the same amount of rewards regardless of when you open the chests.
- Rewards
- Boss Rush has Stage Rewards and Ranking Rewards. Get First Win rewards by clearing a stage for the first time. Get rewards for playing in Boss Rush, regardless of defeating the boss or not. Get Ranking Rewards in the in-game mailbox depending on the rank you reached at the end of the season.
- Ranked Stages
- This season is divided into two halves, with both having a different selection of Ranked Stages. You can check "Records" to see the current Ranked Stages.
- Ranking
- Your rank is determined by adding up the scores from each Ranked Stage. Clear stages faster for more points. Additional points are given in the second half of the season. Check your score and records for each stage in "Records." Top scores for each stage are displayed as well.
- Retry Mode
- Clear all stages to unlock Retry Mode—your record will be updated if you get a better score.
- Boss Rush Shop
- Access the Shop from the Boss Rush lobby. You can purchase various items with Challenge Coins. New items will be restocked at the start of a new season.
