Blueberry Spiders are regular enemies that appear in World Exploration Episode 11, Grandberry Market. They serve as ranged attackers that inflict damaging debuffs.

Behavior[]

Blueberry Spiders typically appear in large groups at the back of waves. Their basic attacks strike from a medium range and damage the three nearest targets, inflicting Status Poison Poison on them. These attacks prioritize the target with the most missing HP within attack range, followed by the target with the lowest HP if no available targets have missing HP.

Elite[]

Elite Blueberry Spiders come in smaller groups than regular Blueberry Spiders, but will attempt to keep any targets within their maximum attack range. If a target is inside their attack range, they will move back a short distance before attacking.

Legend of the Red Dragon[]

A Blueberry Spider Boss is fought at the end of the "Stories in the Berry Forest" stage of Legend of the Red Dragon. This boss version of an elite Blueberry Spider is immune to debilitating effects but is Status Vulnerable Element Fire Vulnerable to Fire.

Tips[]

  • Blueberry Spiders will typically aim at Front Cookies first due to them most likely to have taken damage. However, if a team is at full HP, they may aim at squishies Rear Cookies first due to their low maximum HP.
  • Blueberry Spiders can easily focus-fire Cookies that are low on HP, and the splash damage ensures that their neighbors also receive the same amount of damage. If a team can't quickly defeat them and keep its members healthy, it may find its members getting quickly picked off.
  • Middle Cookies can easily lose their health taking splash damage directed at Front Cookies. If not healed back in time, Blueberry Spiders will quickly change their attack focus to those weakened Middle Cookies.
  • Because the splash effect of the attacks of Blueberry Spiders are limited by the number of targets, multiple summoned creatures can be used to redirect the effects of their attacks away from Cookies.
  • Debilitating Blueberry Spiders with skills like Dream of the Night Sky Skill icon Dream of the Night Sky or Soaring Compassion Skill icon Soaring Compassion can stop them from attacking. Following up with other high-damage AoE skills like Ink Tentacle Slap Skill icon Ink Tentacle Slap can allow a team to quickly defeat them without hassle.
