The Black Dragon of the North (Korean: 흑룡, huglyong) and the White Dragon of the South (Korean: 백룡, baeglyong), also known as the Twin Dragons, are NPCs in Cookie Run: Kingdom. Though present in the lore since launch, they first appear in individual speaking roles in the Dark Resolution's Glorious Return update (v5.6).
The Black Dragon and the White Dragon are two halves of a whole known as the Black and White Dragon, split in two by 
Stormbringer Cookie for their combined form's insatiable avarice. They endlessly fought each other in the mountains of the prehistoric Dark Cacao region, never to properly recombine, until they were sealed in 
Dark Cacao Cookie's Grapejam Chocoblade.
Story[]
The Black Dragon and the White Dragon were originally a singular dragon known as the Black and White Dragon, hatched within the Great Icing Ridge.
However, even after splitting, the two dragons could not resist the urge to be near one another, longing to be whole again. Eventually they reunited, but were cursed to fight each other until the end of time, unable to ever become who they once were.
The fight between the Twin Dragons was eventually ceased by Dark Cacao Cookie, defeating the two and brokering peace across the lands.

- The Black Dragon and the White Dragon appear as set pieces in the corners of the Citadel of the Frozen Cliff overworld map.
- The Black Dragon of the South and White Dragon of the North Decors are incorrectly titled, as the Black Dragon was banished to the north and the White Dragon was banished to the south.
- Their appearance in the story of Dark Resolution's Glorious Return was hinted at by
Stormbringer Cookie in an earlier update. In Heaven-Splitting Lightning, Stormbringer Cookie remarked that Dark Cacao Cookie's Grapejam Chocoblade had a familiar energy that could potentially escape[1], meaning that Stormbringer Cookie recognized the powers of the Black and White Dragon that she once fought, as well as the possibility that they would break free from the sword.
