Before the Dark Flour War, on a day when the sun setting on the horizon was especially breathtaking... Three hero Cookies stood in a field, bathed in golden sunlight. A dreadful monster lay defeated on the ground.
“Are you not going to offer some berry juice?” asked Golden Cheese Cookie, her golden ornaments and weapons gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight. Upon closer inspection, her gear was cracked and covered in dirt after the long battle. Hollyberry Cookie’s sturdy shield was cracked and dented. Dark Cacao Cookie was in worse shape: his cape was torn, his hair disheveled, save for his sword—thanks to the Soul Jam. “We must toast to our victory! No exceptions!” Hollyberry(sct) shouted, chuckling with her hands on her hips.
They truly believed this would be the final battle. But it had proven to be long and grueling, and the monster put up a formidable fight against our heroes. Everyone stood in silence, knowing that they would have crumbled if not for their Soul Jams. “Great power comes with great responsibilities...” said Dark Cacao Cookie quietly. Golden Cheese Cookie and Hollyberry Cookie started bickering about his statement. After all, sometimes the responsibilities were too great. However, great responsibilities could also come with even greater rewards.
With the sun setting behind them, two Cookies walked toward them. “Took you two long enough!” “The sun’s almost gone now!” Now, with all five heroes gathered and recuperating from the battle, White Lily Cookie spoke up quietly. “I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news... But we won’t be having any berry juice...” After seeing the shocked faces on the Cookies, Pure Vanilla Cookie hastily added an explanation, “This field was the sole berry farm of this village, and the berries were to be harvested tomorrow.” The situation was rather unfortunate, but the lack of berry juice wouldn’t tarnish the cherished memories shared between friends and allies. “Ah well! We’ll just have to toast with root beer instead! Did everyone bring their glasses?” Berry juice or not, the five Cookies toasted their victory as the sun set.
That day marked the only occasion Hollyberry Cookie did not drink berry juice after a battle, but she regards it as one of her most memorable ones. Of course, this story lives only in the memories of the five Cookies, unwritten in history books.
